Index Fest is excited to announce the launch of the re-branded craft beer festival series this year in Houston, TX. Formerly known as Untapped Festival, Index Fest will bring a stellar celebration of beer, music, food and art to Post HTX (formerly the Barbara Jordan Downtown Post Office) in Houston, TX on Saturday September 16, 2017. In addition to a world-class music lineup, the Houston event will feature an impressive list of more than 75 craft breweries from Houston, the state of Texas and beyond. Those craft breweries will be pouring an astounding selection of 250 beers, featuring some of the most popular and most unique craft brews for patrons to sample throughout the evening.

The newly rebranded Index Fest successfully kicked off its 4-city Texas tour on May 13th in Austin, Texas at the Austin American-Statesman with music headliners Local Natives. Index Fest Austin was followed up with the second installment on June 3 at Fort Worth’s Panther Island Pavilion, which featured music headliners Dawes and Johnnyswim.  Additional information regarding Index Fest Houston, including the music lineup, participating craft breweries and the full beer list will be announced at a later date.

Specially priced early bird tickets for the Houston edition of Index Fest will go on sale to e-mail list subscribers Today June 27, and will be available to the general public beginning Thursday June 29 at 10AM. Ticket buyers may choose from a variety of General Admission and VIP ticket and beer tasting options at www.IndexFest.com.

Picking up where the Untapped Craft Beer and Music Festival series left off, Index Fest has expanded the programming. The same focus on craft beer and music remains, but the long-term vision for Index Fest includes elevating the new components of high-quality local food and visual art displays to similar levels.

“Index Fest is dedicated to upholding the groundwork of Untapped Festival’s enormously fun and flavorful craft beer and music programming, while curating a fresh focus on local food and dynamic visual art installations. I can’t wait to share our long-term vision for the festival with Houston’s thriving craft beer community,” says festival director Brad Weiss.

Index Fest Houston will be open to all ages, and patrons are encouraged to bring their well-behaved, leashed dogs along for the festivities. Additional information, including the music lineup, comprehensive beer list, collection of participating breweries and additional ticketing details, will be coming soon.
